We’re so excited to be featured in Downtown Raleigh Alliance’s “Women-Owned Businesses in DTR” list! In celebration of Women’s History Month, Downtown Raleigh Alliance compiled a list of businesses owned or co-owned by women.
“Women-owned businesses are an essential part of the downtown economy and you can show your support by dining, shopping, and enjoying all they have to offer.”
We couldn’t agree more with this statement from the DRA! Downtown Raleigh Alliance breaks down the list between food & drink, shopping, services & entertainment. Check out the full list here. Some of our favorite places included on the list are Junction West, Johnson Street Yacht Club, and The Flourish Market. We encourage you to take a look at the list and try out a new bar, restaurant, or service!
About the Downtown Raleigh Alliance
Founded in 1996, the Downtown Raleigh Alliance (DRA) serves as the administrator of the Downtown Raleigh Municipal Services District (MSD), which is a defined special assessment district in which property owners contribute toward enhanced services. The management and maintenance of the public realm, via the Ambassador program and Team Downtown Raleigh, account for some of the major investments made possible through the MSD. Other program investments include storefront recruitment, business retention, and community engagement programs. The DRA also leverages MSD funds in a variety of ways through marketing, communications, and promotional campaigns to attract more customers to support the development of the district. Their mission is to advance the vitality of Downtown Raleigh for everyone.
