Blonde Bombshell Makeover at Salon Veritas
This client traveled to visit Ashley from North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The client had long hair for years but was ready for something more low-maintenance and chic. After looking through photos and getting some inspiration, we decided on this cut and style and the client could not have been happier.
The bob haircut really compliments her face shape and instead of doing an overall color, we opted for balayage highlights to get more longevity out of the color and give her a more natural look. The client was so pleased that she already scheduled two follow-up appointments and will be making the three-hour drive (one-way) each time!
What’s a Balayage?
Balayage is a French word that means “to sweep” and is the technique of painting highlights onto the hair. This creates a soft and natural radiation of lightness toward the ends of the hair. Balayage starts away from the roots and is focused toward the mid-shafts and ends of hair. This technique can be done on any hair color to create a natural-looking sunkissed glow.
